The KuK offers you the ideal preparation for this! Alone and in groups, you will deal with very different questions. How does our culture differ from others? How do you cope with culture shock? How do you stay healthy in a completely new environment? How can I strengthen my relationship with God and how do I behave if I put my foot in my mouth or even get into a conflict situation?
Almost all intercultural employees need a circle of supporters for their work. How can a circle of supporters be established and maintained? Why do many find this aspect of their ministry difficult? In this workshop, we will consult the Bible together on the topic of “finances” and work out the next concrete steps for this aspect of ministry.
At AWM Korntal you can attend many courses on a wide range of topics.
Do you accompany refugees or are you out and about with people from other cultures? Do you have contact with Muslims? Or do you have a migrant background yourself? Various Christian training centers and partners of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft interkulturell offer public block courses, seminar series, day seminars and evening courses on intercultural topics and migration issues. These courses sensitize people to different cultures (including their own!), train them to talk to “others” and help them to reflect on their experiences so that integration and genuine coexistence can succeed.
