Do you know the feeling of being neither fish nor fowl or of being caught between worlds? In the Family Debriefing Week, we give you and your children tools to help you master life as modern nomads “from there to here”.

The week provides space to explore your own history and understand transitions. Where do I have to let go of something? What treasures do I want to keep? Past experiences are reflected upon and accompanied with professional support. Refreshed and strengthened, we can look to the future together. In discussions within the family, in small groups, in pairs or alone before God, what has been heard is related to one’s own situation and led into personal deepening. The topics are explored creatively and interactively in all age groups. Fun and action are also included!

The Family Debriefing is aimed at all families who are or have been involved in an intercultural ministry. A competent team will guide you through the week with a great deal of empathy, their own experience and professional debriefing know-how. The course content is dealt with in an age-appropriate way in all groups, so that the children can also go through personal processes. There is regular discussion during family times. We therefore recommend that the oldest child in the family is at least 6 years old. Younger siblings are well looked after in the crèche.

Important: The course language is Swiss German. We assume that all family members understand Swiss German and can communicate in German or Swiss German. If this is not the case, please specify under “Comments” when registering.
